Tabaq Restaurant & Take Away

The Tabaq name will soon become synonymous with excellent traditional Pakistani and Indian cuisine, in a friendly atmosphere. Ours is a new concept based on years of experience; providing authentic, home-cooked food in an exciting restaurant.

The restaurant is easily accessible by many public transport routes and has very good road connections, being very close to the ring-road.

We pride ourselves on our diverse menu, which includes many specialties of the subcontinent unavailable at other, similar eateries. It caters for diners of all ages, and although we cannot promise a nut-free environment, we will do our best to accommodate food allergies.

Most days, our customers can find Saima, our very enthusiastic owner-cum-hostess, greeting them with a smile. Our award-winning chef has worked for some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in the area and he is constantly experimenting with new recipes.

Our cookery school is something which we feel makes us stand out from the crowd. Between Saima and our chef, amateurs of all ages will be taught to cook a variety of curries from scratch.

Having a party? Talk to our events team. We specialize in arranging children's parties. Special photo shoot sessions can be arranged for these events. We also offer party and corporate event catering for occasions when only Tabaq's cuisine will do. Exclusive menus can be offered for large parties and weddings.

To recognize their contribution to society, we would like to offer a 10% concession for NHS staff, police, armed forces and teachers from Yorkshire on production of valid photo ID.
